+# Fix V21 - Login server connection
+
+Base: V20 login-focus-fix.
+
+Problem:
+- During first Xtream login, the Retrofit base URL interceptor reads the server URL from SecureStorage.
+- But the server URL was only saved after successful login.
+- Result: first login could call the placeholder localhost and show "Cannot reach server", even when the server works.
+
+Fix:
+- AuthRepository now normalizes and temporarily saves the Xtream config before calling player_api.php.
+- If login fails, previous config is restored, or only connection config is cleared while preserving local data.
+- XtreamBaseUrlInterceptor now also respects http/https scheme and normalizes host/port.
+- Server URL, username, password and M3U URL are trimmed before use.
+
+Scope:
+- Network login path only.
+- No changes to LIVE, replay, player, global search, YouTube, recent LIVE, continue watching, or home scroll.
